Our annual event that was originally scheduled for March 25, 2020, will now be a virtual celebration of our inspiring leaders who advocate for and empower teens and adults on the autism spectrum. Join us to honor:

  • Jodi DiPiazza - musical prodigy, multi-instrumental musician, composer, vocalist, (famous for singing Firework with Katy Perry at age 11), and teen autism self-advocate.
  • Peter Gerhardt - Executive Director, EPIC School for students with autism, co-chairman of the Scientific Council for the Organization for Autism Research, and pioneer in addressing the needs of adolescents and adults on the spectrum.
  • Liane Kupferberg Carter - parent of a young man with ASD; essayist, speaker and award-winning author of the memoir: Ketchup is My Favorite Vegetable, a Family Grows Up with Autism.
  • Marc Carter - parent of a young man with ASD, civic leader, valued board member of many organizations serving people with disabilities including education, recreation, summer camp, housing and employment.

Yes She Can helps teen girls and young women with autism and learning disabilities develop transferable job skills through direct coaching and immersive learning in an authentic business, Girl AGain boutique.

Despite the pandemic, we are continuing to serve our young women through virtual coaching in one-on-one sessions, small work groups, and with our full group for social skills, yoga and counseling. Social isolation had already been a problem for our young women, but now it is exacerbated, so they need our program more than ever.

Your ticket purchase along with generous sponsors will help fund job coaching for our trainees who all have a goal of employment. We look forward to seeing you on September 30th!
